About Chloe McCracken
I started working as a professional tarot reader in 2006. Not coincidentally, I began my official studies and placements in psychotherapy at the same time.
For me, the two have always been connected - magic and mindset - as well as connecting with something beyond ourselves. In some ways, it’s surprising I didn’t study Transpersonal Psychotherapy, though I did consider it. Funnily enough, the courses I found at that time struck me as too woo-woo 😀
I’ve always enjoyed learning, and have achieved a Masters in Social Anthropology, a Postgraduate Diploma in Psychotherapy and Counselling, and a Postgraduate Certificate in Clinical Hypnosis. These all inform my understandings of the world, and how I interact with people.
The spiritual is also an intrinsic part of my life. My mother taught me to read coffee grounds and use a pendulum when I was a child. This element of divination and energy work has stayed with me, an underlying thread.
I have been practicing yoga since 1992, and spent eight years teaching yoga. This has deeply influenced my view of the body-mind-spirit connection. It also informs my approaches to meditation and breathing, which are cornerstones to living in wellness and influencing your own body and mind.
My view of the universe is non-dualist: I don’t believe that spirit is something ‘out there’ and separate. We are all a part of spirit. Like the cells in the human body, we can’t necessarily see the big picture, yet we are intimately involved in it. For that reason, when you surrender to spirit you become more yourself, and can take part more fully in the joy of life.
My joy is to act as companion in people’s search for a more fulfilling life and a greater sense of wellness.
To do this, I combine these different aspects: the academic/scientific, the physical and the spiritual.
So, we might do a tarot reading to help determine where your focus could most usefully be placed, or what is currently blocking you. Then, we could tap on what you need to release. We could design a meditation practice for you, or use a magical meditation during the session to explore your best way forward, or to help build sustainable motivation.
You might also want to design a ritual or spell to help you more fully embody your intention. We can explore what that might look like, finding what feels right to you. I can also offer tips and suggestions on how to make your magical practice the most effective.
If you're not quite sure what you want to focus on, or which technique would best suit you, I also offer a Bring Me Magic session, either online or in-person. You don't have to decide what you want right off, we can explore it intuitively together.
I hope you’ll join me on this magical journey to wellness.
